Throughout history the world had many different belief system. A belief system is a set of mutually supportive beliefs. The belief system greatly influenced the lives of their followers and the society in which the belief system was practiced. How they did it was by creating different rules and teaching to help through your everyday life's. The two major belief systems were Hinduism and Buddhism.The rules and teaching they came up to help people's life were The
Four Noble Truths , Eightfold Path, Nirvana. Also reincarnation, Karma, Caste structure.
Buddhism emerged in Indif 500 B.C the founder was Siddhartha Gautama. Buddhism had many teaching but one of the teaching was The Four Noble Truth. Which people strongly believed in The Four Noble Truth was the believe that you shouldn’t desire things you couldn’t afford. For example if you wanted a iphone 6 but you know you can’t afford this desire things you need like a job or food. This teaching influenced the life of the society because The Four Noble Truth was basically stating that you need to follow these rules to be able to reach nirvana. The second teaching was The Eightfold Path which is control your thoughts which means resist evil.This also influenced the life of the society because they would be rewarded by reaching nirvana as a result of their behavior in this life. The last teaching for Buddhism is Nirvana which everyone is trying to reach but Nirvana in which the release from the cycle of reincarnation and reach enlightenment. Pretty much means that when your done reincarnating and you reach enlightenment.

Which was based off what class you was born in it was broken down to Brahmins which was the priest who were on the top then second was Kshatriya which was warriors then third was Vaishya merchant then fourth was Sudra artisans then last but least untouchable (Dalit) these people got the jobs people didn't want to do they were forced to live outside the city. This teaching influenced the life of its followers and the society because if you wasn't born in a high caste system you would had suffered really bad if was born in a low caste system it would affect not only the way you live the job you have it would effect your kids when they grow up. Second teaching was Karma which is a sum of a person’s action cause from a good or bad deeds influences life circumstances. This teaching influenced the life of people and the society because whatever you do to someone good or bad it would either hurt you or don't hurt just watch what you do. The last teaching is reincarnation which is re-birth a division soul of spirit is barn. This teaching influenced the life of people of the society because not only you keep re-birthing if you are in a high caste system you can move up.
